It is with great pleasure I welcome you to St. Anne’s Catholic Primary School.
Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you enjoy learning about life at St. Anne’s.
In 2015 due to our excellent reputation, popularity and our continued success in supporting all children to make the progress of which they are capable, St. Anne’s was chosen by the local Authority for expansion into a two form entry school.
Our warm and friendly atmosphere makes St. Anne’s a great place to learn, where children feel safe and develop into responsible young adults. They leave us well rounded and caring individuals with a strong sense of community, justice and democracy.
All our children are incredibly happy and have a very positive attitude to learning.
The diversity of race and culture of our families adds to the rich tapestry of St Anne’s community where children and adults have genuine respect for each other and enjoy learning with and from each other.
RE Inspector October 2013 (judgement Outstanding):
“St Anne’s does an outstanding job of maintaining its Catholicity whilst truly embracing and respecting the diversity of all the children and families.”
“St Anne’s is the place to be!”
Our staff work extremely hard to develop a core and extra curriculum which inspires and excites children. We ask our children to be the best they can be and we do our best every single day for every single child. We are a fully inclusive school.
We are fortunate to have great support from parents, carers, governors, parishioners and the local community.
We are all very, very proud of our school.
We often welcome past pupils back to school and support them in their work experience or college placements. We love to hear of the successes of our former pupils.
We are always keen to listen to ideas and opinions from our children, parents and carers. These are gathered formally twice a year but please feel free to leave a message on our website, or pop it into the school office at any time.
As we continue to feed back our responses to your suggestions via newsletters or assemblies, we are working on a website page to also inform parents and carers how their input has impacted on School Development.
If you would like to arrange a visit to our school, myself or a member of our Leadership and Management team would be more than happy to meet you and deliver a tour during which you will see fantastic children and adults working together.
