Parliament Week

During Parliament Week Year 6 held their own Parliament in class. The main political party wanted to pass a bill to shut down McDonalds because of the effect it's unhealthy food was having on people. The opposition wanted to keep it open. The debate in class was very powerful and the children put their arguments forward very clearly. Mrs Shields, Mrs Peaston and Paula had a difficult time deciding which party to support!!
