In literacy we have been learning about persuasive writing. The children had to imagine that a supermarket was going to built on the cricket pitch in just outside the village in which they live. It was their job to persuade the local council not to allow the supermarket to be built. One of the groups was representing the supermarket and trying to persuade the council how good a supermarket would be for the village.
