Punctuation and Grammar Basic Skills

Morning everybody,

Parents and carers, I am attaching plenty of work. The children can do as much or as little as you want them to do. Remember, they can also go onto Purple Mash, Times tables Rock Stars, Nessy and do book quizzes on Accelerated Reader. If you want to listen to some stories, Audible are giving free access to all their children's books.

I will give you a ring on Monday to check everything is going ok.

Take care

English - word families

For maths today, do lesson 1 please. Look at the powerpoint first, it will help you.

Red and Green Groups

For English today, watch the animated film, Adrift. When you have finished watching, retell the story in your own words. Remember, you are trying to paint a picture of the story in the reader's mind. Use adjectives and fronted adverbials to control what the reader is seeing, thinking and feeling about the the story.

Blue Group

You can retell the story in your own words, or retell it in pictures. You need to write a sentence with 2 powerful adjectives about each picture.

Good luck
