Equality Objectives

Equality at St Anne’s Catholic Primary School

At St Anne’s Catholic Primary School we are committed to ensuring that we promote equality for all members of our school community: children, staff, parents/carers and visitors.

We aim to do this through the use of our resources; our school policies and how we deliver our curriculum. We also aim to promote a global understanding of equality issues through our practice and curriculum.

We fully accept our responsibility to educate our children about equality information and assertively address any behaviour that affects the equality of others. This includes:

  • Age
  • Disability
  • Gender reassignment
  • Race – including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin
  • Religion or belief
  • Marriage or civil partnership
  • Sex
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Pregnancy or Maternity

At St Anne’s Catholic Primary School

No form of discrimination is tolerated at St Anne’s Catholic Primary School and we all show respect for those who share the protected characteristics.
